Steve began his professional career in a family-owned construction company, and entered the financial services industry as an advisor to assist clients with their business continuity needs. As his clients reached retirement age, the need for them to transfer their business ownership led him to start his own firm, SR Allison, Ltd. Steve holds his series 6, 7, 63, and 65 securities license as well as his Group 1 life and health license. He received his designation as a Certified Exit Planning Advisor from the Exit Planning Institute and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. In addition to formal education, he has attended numerous industry schools relating to business and personal planning. Steve is a professional member of The ESOP Association, a qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table, a Court of the Table Producer, a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, National Center for Employee Ownership and Financial Services Institute.
