James V. Capone - Principal & Controller

James Capone joined SES Advisors, Inc. as the Controller/Firm Administrator in March 2004. Jim is responsible for managing the firms’ daily financial and administrative activities. Prior to joining SES, Jim was the Controller/CFO for Soll Associates in Northeast Philadelphia. He has also been employed as the Assistant Controller for the Giuffre Medical Center and by Deloitte & Touche as an Auditor.

Jim is a Certified Public Accountant and is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He is an active member of both the Pennsylvania and American Institutes of Certified Public Accounts and received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Philadelphia University.

In addition to Jim’s professional achievements, he maintains an active role in his community. He currently serves on the board of One Little Step and has previously served on the board of the Children’s Ballet Theatre of Philadelphia. He was also a member of Cora Services Philadelphia and was involved with the Deptford Township Zoning Board.
