January 1, 2008 - FMI Consultants, a construction industry consulting firm, predicts that broad-based employee ownership will increasingly replace family ownership in the industry in 2008. FMI identified other leading trends in the construction industry including greener building practices, focus on productivity improvement and an increasing percentage of Hispanic workers.
