James F. Higgins, Jr. - Principal

Jim Higgins joined SES Advisors, Inc. as a principal and shareholder in June 2003. Jim’s responsibilities include business development and consulting services of Employee Stock Ownership Plan leveraged buyouts. Prior to joining SES, he was a principal and vice president of Menke & Associates, Inc. Jim has made numerous presentations across the country on the financing needs of privately held companies, including the implementation of Employee Stock Ownership Plans.

Jim received a wide array of financing experience while employed by Bank of Boston and Imperial Bank. As a manager with Merck & Co., Inc.’s internal investment banking and strategic alliance units, Jim gained valuable experience in corporate finance and mergers and aquisitions.

Jim was born in Boston, MA. He received his Bachelor of Science, cum laude, from Boston College and his Master of Science in Finance from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
