On November 23, SES Client Restek Corporation welcomed Rep. Glenn Thompson from Pennsylvania's 5th District to tour their Bellefonte facility and meet with employee-owners.
Restek's leadership team thanked the Congressman for his support of H.R. 1244, the "Promotion and Expansion of Private Employee Ownership Act of 2011," and asked for his commitment against the proposed DOL regulation that would make ESOP trustees fiduciaries of the plan. Rep. Thompson provided a list of Senators to whom Restek could voice their concerns about the proposed regulation, as well as garner support for S. 1512, the Senate equivalent of the House pro-ESOP bill.
